Teaching theme: God gave his covenant people the Law to form them in holiness and so guide them in their mission to live against the grain of a sinful world. Holiness is the vocation of all of God’s people.

Teaching theme: God deals with the sinfulness of his people through atonement by which he purifies them and reconciles them to himself.

Teaching theme: The steadfast love of God is demonstrated in the mercy that he continually extends to his unfaithful spouse, his people. It is God’s final purpose to purify his people and make them worthy of being joined to him in a covenant.
