Small Groups (Acts 2:42)
In this large, friendly parish, it's always fun to meet and greet new faces. It's also important to have a place of belonging. You'll find a small group is a place where you'll get to know others, build friendships, and grow in your Christian faith. Acts 2:42 groups are those who are committed to growing in their faith through Bible study, and prayer.
Acts 2:42 Kickoff
Sunday, September 19
Just as Jesus gathered his group of 12 disciples together, Acts 2:42 represents the many small groups who meet regularly in homes or at church for fellowship,Bible study, prayer, and to care for one another. Some groups discuss the sermon and study the Sunday scripture readings, others select a Bible study. This will be a chance to join an Acts 2:42 group or recommit to participation in an existing group. After a joint reception on the lawn with the Alpha participants,Fr.Eric and Fr.Michael will teach on Acts 2:42 and the fullness that comes with being part of a Bible-centered, small group.“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
