What is the Anglican Student Association?
The Anglican Student Association is a Registered Student Organization at The Florida State University. It exists to provide interested students opportunities to gather for fellowship, worship, service and study. You don't have to be an Anglican to be part of the group. Students interested in Anglicanism or Christianity, or those simply interested in living the Jesus way are most welcome. Those who are not yet followers of Jesus are also welcome to join us as we seek to live lives that reflect the goodness of our God. The ASA is associated with St. Peter's which provides pastoral oversight through the ministry of Fr. John Wallace.
Anglicans are both Protestant and Catholic. We are Protestant in our commitment to the authority of Scripture and the importance of Bible study and preaching, but we are also Catholic in our commitment to the sacraments, and especially the centrality of the Holy Eucharist and Baptism.
