Boys Town North Florida Updates
A few Sunday's ago, Tahicha Hubbard gave her moving “Moment for Ministry” testimony during the announcements at both morning services. Tahicha works at Father Flanagan Boys Town, a home style facility for young people that has literally saved lives. As one of the designated outreach ministries of St. Peter’s, Father Flanagans Boys Town North Florida has received attention from our parish for the Hands on Tallahassee Community Workday, and throughout the year. A few of our ministries there have been painting, an Extreme House Makeover, and Thanksgiving dinner basket donations for each house. There was a Celebration of Lights tree lighting on December 12. Founded in Nebraska, Father Flanagan’s celebrates its 90th anniversary this year. St. Peter’s is pleased and proud to be in partnership ministry with this fine national organization.
