Home Lay Eucharistic Minsiters take Holy Communion to shut in homes, hospitals, and care facilities.
A "Lay Eucharistic Minister for Visitation" is so licensed by the Bishop who, directly following a celebration of the Holy Eucharist on a Sunday (or other principal celebrations), takes the Sacrament consecrated at the Celebration to members of the congregation who, by reason of illness or infirmity, were unable to be present at the Celebration.
