Lectionary
St. Peter's Anglican Church uses the original 1979 Book of Common Prayer (BCP) Lectionary and primarily reads from the Revised Standard Version (RSV) of The Bible. As Youth Lectors deliver the reading of the New Testament Lesson, the assigned text may be from The Message Translation. The Psalms are taken from The Psalter found in The Book of Common Prayer.
Yearly Lectionaries are broken down into a rotating cycle of three years: Year A, Year B, and Year C. For more information, please read "Concerning the Lectionary."
