Sanctity of Life Service

6:30-7:30pm in the ChurchEveryone is welcome to attend this service of healing especially those who have suffered the loss of a child through miscarriage, illness, injury, or abortion. Also Christians of all traditions can join in remembering the unborn and celebrating human life at all stages in life’s journey.
Boys Town
Boys Town North Florida has provided services that positively and directly change the lives of severely at-risk children in the North Florida area. If you love working with youth, there are many opportunities to get involved. Contact Bill Ward at Bward1123@aol.com.
Brehon House
Brehon House provides housing for homeless pregnant women and their infants in the Tallahassee area. These women come to the home with nothing and are asked to provide their own food and baby supplies.If you would like to bring hope and encouragement to the homeless pregnant women of Brehon House with Bible studies and home cooked meals, contact Corrie Melton at corriemelton@yahoo.com.

ECHO (Emergency Care and Help Organization)
ECHO’s mission is to put faith into action by serving people in crisis and poverty. Feed those who are hungry. Here are two ways:

Join us at First Presbyterian Church six Sundays a year to serve a warm meal to the homeless. Contact Margaret Ann Clark at willae@embarqmail.com.
- Bring peanut butter to church. St. Peter’s provides the peanut butter for the food bags that ECHO gives to those in need. Bring an 18 oz. jar with you every Sunday and place it in the basket in the back of church.
FaithWorks
On February 25, 2012 in FaithWorks, St. Peter’s parishioners will fan out all over the city to serve the needs of the poor and needy. Please join us as we become the hands and feet of Christ to our brothers and sisters in need. There is something for everyone. Find a detailed list of projects at the sign up table after each service or on the website starting January 15.
Good News Outreach
Good News Outreach – A Christian organization dedicated to relieving physical, mental, emotional and spiritual suffering to those within our surrounding community. The focus of all GNO ministries is concentrated in areas that are not adequately addressed by other non-profit organizations or governmental agencies. Good Samaritan Ministry
Good Samaritan Ministry is designed to help people who come to the doors of St. Peter’s in a financial crisis as well as parishioners who have fallen on hard times. If you would like to help contact Vicki Bertoch at vickibertoch@msn.com.

Prison Ministry
The mission of the Prison Ministry is to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those in prison. “I was in prison and you visited me.” Matthew 25: 36.
