St. Peter’s offers many programs, small groups,mission-minded ministries and fellowship events for all men in the church, so that they may grow in their faith and service to Christ.
Men’s Monthly Breakfast
Sept. 4, Oct. 2, Nov. 6, and Dec. 4
Breakfast and Bible study are planned for the first Thursday of each month, 7:00 - 8:15 am. Bring a friend for great food, lots of fellowship, and Fr. Eric’s teachings on the Bible.
Anglican 4th Day – Men’s Weekend
Men from St. Peter’s and other AANF churches retreat to Dowling Park for an amazing weekend. It’s a relaxed time of listening to and discussing talks given by the clergy and laity, prayer, worship, songs, recreation, laughter andmoments of reflection and quiet. It’s a chance to get away fromthe everyday rush and send time with God.
Smokin’ Hot and Straight Off the Grill
The same St. Peter’s cooking team that brought you the terrific meals at the Men’s Retreat are at it again! They’ll be smoking Boston Butt roasts ready for pick up on Sunday, November 1. Great for your Sunday dinner, weeknight supper or the following weekend’s FSU/Clemson tailgate. Place your order in advance (with pre-payment) then simply drive-thru or pick up. Roasts will average 6 lbs for $25 each.
Men’s Gathering
It starts with red beans and rice with Andouille sausage, toss in some oysters and it’s an afternoon surrounded by friends. Throw in some football and a Fr. Eric teaching. It’s a blue jeans event at the Langford’s Lake Iamonia lodge. All men 18 and over invited…friends too!
Coming in January… Retreat to the Retreat!
The Men’s Retreat this past spring was such an amazing time that the planning team up and scheduled another! You won’t have to pack a bag for this one! Charge on over to Taproots on January 31 with a great guest speaker with small group discussions, lots of fellowship… and a delicious hot lunch cooked by our St. Peter’s grill team!

Disciple Bible Study I for Men

Wednesdays @ Taproots
6:30 - 8:00 p.m.This 30 week class will take participants from Genesis to Revelation by exploring the themes which run through the whole canon of Scripture. Through video presentations, weekly Scripture reading and class discussions participants will grow in their knowledge of God and of what it means to be God’s people in the world. This is not merely a “Bible class,” but prepares participants to read and study Scripture fruitfully and intelligently.

The Brotherhood of St. Andrew

Chaplain: Fr. Michael Petty.The Brotherhood of St. Andrew is a fellowship of men whose primary mission is to spread Christ’s Kingdom among men and youth within the Anglican Communion. Members of the Brotherhood covenant to practice the disciplines of prayer, study and service and to meet regularly for worship, teaching and fellowship. Membership in the Brotherhood is open to all men in the parish.

Middle School guys meet each Sunday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., at Taproots for fun and Bible Study.
