Biography of Chris Garven
Chris comeshas a rich career in sacred music, a career highlighted by building many strong church music programs and leading them boldly in the praise and worship of God. Chris graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University with Bachelor’s degrees in both Bible and Organ Performance and has a Masters degree in Music from Westminster Choir College. Chris has given organ recitals all over the world, has an impressive record of performance with musical groups such as the Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra, and longs to develop a national music ministry within the newly formed Anglican Church in North America. Before coming to St. Peter's, Chris was the Director of Music for a large parish in Philadelphia, but has blessed us by moving his family, including wife Deborah (an accomplished musician in her own right) and six children to sunny Tallahassee to join in the work God is doing at St. Peter’s.
