TBA
Location: St. Peter’s, 901 Thomasville Road
N.T. Wright is one of the most fertile minds in the Church today. After teaching New Testament at Oxford for many years he was appointed Bishop of Durham, England. Wright’s most recent book Simply Christian is an attempt to update C.S. Lewis’ classic Mere Christianity. Simply Christian makes use of Bishop Wright’s book and video teaching segments featuring Bishop Wright. This class is intended for those who wish to enter the Catechumenate but who already have some Christian background. Each evening of Simply Christian follows the same pattern. The class begins with dinner followed by Bishop Wright’s teaching. The evening concludes with small group discussion led by trained leaders.

Each session begins with a great meal together, a video presentation, followed by small group discussions. This is one of three classes needed for membership. Advance registration and childcare needs are appreciated.

Alpha 4 Kids!
Just as the adult Alpha class meets for dinner and small group discussion; Alpha 4 Kids will also meet for dinner and weekly discussions. This is an introduction to or a refresher of Christian faith for kids in 3rd-5th grade. Our discussions will parallel the weekly schedule for the adults and should lead to some wonderful conversations between parents and children!
