Parish Life Ministries is about getting you involved in the life of this parish through lay ministries, small groups and Acts 2:42 Bible studies. Network helps us discern our spiritual gifts so that we can know where best to serve Christ. The website gives you up to the moment updates of fellowship opportunities/special events/receptions which build a sense of community as we grow together in our love of Christ and reach out to others with His word.

Men's Ministry

St. Peter’s Men's Ministry offers many programs, small groups ,mission-minded ministries and fellowship events for all men in the church, so that they may grow in their faith and service to Christ.
Programs include but are not limited to Men's Monthly Breakfast, Anglican 4th Day Weekend, Men's Gathering, a Men's One-Day Retreat and more. . .
Women's Ministry

The Mission and Purpose Statements for St. Peter’s Women’s Ministry Council say almost all there is to say about “who we are” and “what we do”. We are a new, “homegrown” women's council which draws together the many women's ministries that have formed in our 4 years of existence in order to aid each other and to avoid “reinventing wheels” (or duplications). All of St. Peter's women are encouraged to participate in serving Christ and His Church through these various events and organization, and we are always open to new avenues of service.
Neighbors!
As St. Peter’s grows and builds the “Church,” we want everyone to feel connected and be part of this Christian family. Whether it’s on your neighborhood street or on St. Peter’s lawn, make a point of getting to know your neighbors…especially your neighborhood leader. A regional picnic is planned for this spring, and we hope that you will plan to be there. We’re launching this new ministry so that St. Peter’s can build on the sense of community at this growing, exciting church and help make connections with each parishioner. Want to help with this “Neighbors” ministry that’s right in your “backyard?” Contact Tina Campbell at tcampbell@saint-peters.net.
Acts 2:42
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42. In this large, friendly parish, it’s always fun to meet and greet new faces. It’s also important to have a place of belonging. You'll find a small group is a place where you’ll get to know others, build friendships, and grow in your Christian faith. Acts 2:42 groups are those who are committed to growing in their faith through Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. Some groups discuss the sermon and study the Sunday scripture readings, others select a Bible study.
Hospitality
St. Peter’s offers a variety of events and hospitality creating a welcoming place for all. Jesus’ ministry conveyed the importance of
hospitality and fellowship time and again and noted a vital part of Acts 2:42. In fact, Jesus’ ministry began at the wedding feast when He changed water into wine, His first miracle.
Be part of creating many of the fellowship events that offers hospitality to parishioners and newcomers and develop a sense of Christian community as they get to know one another. Hospitality events also serve as an evangelismtool that has plays a significant role in the growth of the parish showing a sense of family and a continuing reunion that binds us together. From lemonade on the lawn to the tent at Taproots, people in our community have a sense that God is on themove in this emerging church. Join an email list that will notify you of an upcoming event or ministry opportunity that requires food, set up or other preparations. You’ll also be told specifically about the time the task will take. If your schedule permits, you can respond; if you can’t, no worries – maybe next time!
