What do I do first?

I am new to the Parish.  What do I do first?

Provide Your Information
Fill out a St. Peter's Information Form (Microsoft Word  or PDF) if you are new to the parish or want to transfer membership, and return to Anne Wright (awright@saint-peters.net) or drop off at the Parish Office.

Determine Your Situation
If you would like to become a member, please take a moment to determine which of the following best describes your current situation:

Baptism graphicSt. Peter's shield - small If you have not been baptized...

In keeping with the tradition of the Anglican church, both adults and infant children are baptized. Baptisms take place at Sunday services on the Day of Pentecost (May/June), the Sunday after All Saints' Day (November), the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord (First Sunday after the Epiphany, January), or at the Great Vigil of Easter (March/April).

Because it is the rite of initiation into the community of faith, Holy Baptism is not administered privately at St. Peter's. Fill out St. Peter's Baptism Form (PDF) and contact Anne Wright awright@saint-peters.net or at ext 20 to arrange the sacrament for yourself or your child.

As a baptized Christian, you may become a member of St. Peter's Anglican Church by transferring your letter of baptism from your previous church.

If you are interested in becoming a confirmed Anglican, plan to attend our catechumenal process. The three part process includes Alpha or Simply Christian, Introducing Anglicanism, and Network, culminating in confirmation by the bishop. Fill out St. Peter's Confirmation Form (PDF) and contact Fr. Michael Petty (mpetty@saint-peters.net, ext. 19) for more information.

Persons coming from the Orthodox and Roman Catholic churches who are interested in joining the Anglican church should plan to attend our catechumenal process, which will prepare you for reception by the bishop.
