Support Youth Ministry
The thing that stands as the number one focus for Rector and Vestry in the coming months is restructuring the Youth Ministry Program, and hiring a new Youth Minister after the current Youth Director leaves for seminary. We must continue to do an exemplary job of shaping these young hearts for Christ so that young families will be drawn into the life of our parish. We will not be able to hire the caliber of person we want for Youth Ministry unless our budget grows! Please give strongly to the life of this church in the coming year so that we can meet the needs of our young people!

Youth Ministry Prayer
LORD, and Heavenly Father, all praise and honor are yours. You have abundantly blessed our parish and we thank you. Lord, we wish to continue building young witnesses to your love in Christ Jesus. Please send your Holy Spirit to work through this parish to continue the good work you have begun and further build-up the Youth Ministry at St. Peter’s. Create the hearts willing to courageously follow you as you lead us in creating a sustainable ministry. Provide all that we need, for our hope is in you.
Through your spirit Lord, teach us to nurture and shape the lives of the young people and their families you have entrusted to us. Send the willing and humble hearts to offer the gifts and talents needed to reach all who seek understanding. Help them rely on Your transforming Love as they share your Truth with joy.
Send Your loving protection to surround each young person. Guard their hearts and minds from all evil. Ignite their hearts with your Spirit and form them to: seek to worship; desire to learn your Truth; and in love serve others for God’s glory. Create a close community of faithful believers that is supportive, friendly and welcoming to all. May their actions reflect Christ as they go out in the world.
Bless our efforts in building witnesses to your Love from generation to generation; for we are called to one hope – one Lord, one faith, one God and Father of all. (Eph. 4:4) In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit we pray. Amen.
