Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians:
Embodying The Gospel in Hostile Territory

Led by Fr. Michael Petty

Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians allows us to listen in on a conversation between Paul and his struggling congregations in the upwardly mobile city of Corinth. The issues faced by both Paul and Converts sound rather familiar: sex, marriage, non-Christian religions, discipline in the Church, worship, family life and the relationship between Gospel and culture. Paul helps us to see that some issues confront the Church over and over again and that it helps to have guidance.

Fr.Dudley’s Two Christmas Sunday School Classes

Sundays, November 23 and December 6

Do you recall the Norman Rockwell illustrations of American life? The young teenage couple at the soda fountain? The old woman and the young man in the little restaurant with bowed heads giving thanks before their meal? The family gathered around the table for Thanksgiving? Do you yearn for a simpler time when families seemed closer and holidays were enjoyable and not a rush? Would you like Christmas to be meaningful again? Come to Fr. Dudley’s two classes to find out ways you can celebrate and enjoy the true Christmas instead of it being one more thing to have to get done!
