The mission of St. Peter's Youth Ministry is to shape young people into disciples of Jesus Christ who understand their place in God's story, who depend upon God's loving power and grace to sustain them throughout their lives, and who love others as a response to God's love for them. As a parish we encourage the Christian formation of the youth and their families through worship, fellowship, servanthood, prayer, and Bible study.

St. Peter's shield - small Focus: Defending Our Faith in A World That Needs Jesus

Come join us as we continue our year-long conversation about how to stand firm in our faith while living in a culture determined to pull us away from the Gospel. We’ll press on in our efforts to answer the tough questions asked by our world, obsessed as it is with relativism and scientism and self-centeredness. The Fall season was full of rich blessings from our Lord – and we pray for the same outpouring in the Spring!

  March 9-11, 2012

Dynamos is a student-led weekend for High School students held twice a year. Folks who go regularly say it was one of the best weekends of their lives! Dynamos gives students an opportunity to be spiritually refreshed and renewed while building community with new friends from all area Anglican churches. Our next Dynamos weekend will be December 2-4, 2011 . Students 9th grade and above who have never been are invited to become Candidates. Former Candidates may apply to serve on Team. All of the applications are on our Diocese Dynamos website. It is indeed a joyous weekend – full of fun and surprises and a deep sense of God’s presence! Contact Fr. Andrew or Barbara Boone (bboone@talchamber.com) if you’d like more information.

St. Peter's shield - small Mission Trips

CommitmentRepresentativeRepresentative

Come be the hands and feet of Jesus in the broader world with us this summer! In Cuba, we’ll journey with members of the broader church community to renew our partnerships with the lovely people of San Pedro’s Church in the tiny town of Zorrilla. In Guatemala, we’ll help make the lives of the indigenous Mayan villagers around the gorgeous lakeside town of Panajachel better through medical clinics, building projects and Vacation Bible Schools. And maybe, just maybe, we’ll go on our first ever youth mission trip to Uganda, where we will brighten the lives of the children living in the orphanages run by our sister diocese in South Rwenzori!
