Youth Staff

Deacon Andrew Rowell, is a graduate of Duke University Divinity School and was a St. Peter’s 2006 Summer Duke Fellow. After completing his undergraduate program at Duke, where he majored in Political Science and Creative Writing, Dcn. Andrew completed law school at The University of Virginia. He worked in Washington D.C. as a speechwriter for the Secretary of Health and Human Services during the Clinton administration and was employed as a tax attorney. While living in the Washington area, Dcn. Andrew attended The Falls Church in Falls Church, Virginia, where he was involved in college and young adult ministries. In October 2007, Dcn. Andrew was ordained into the diaconate at The Falls Church by the Rt. Reverend Martyn Minns, Missionary Bishop of the Convocation of Anglicans in North America (CANA) and will be ordained into the priesthood this fall. Andrew bikes, plays drums, has an eclectic taste in music, and has been involved extensively in mission work around the world.
